The book What Is Quietly Killing Your Company: Behavioral Economics, Self-Concept Maintenance, and the Architecture of Organizational Self-Deception (ISBN 979-8-234-11421-1) is a copyrighted work. All rights are reserved. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, or prepare derivative works from the book or any excerpt without express written permission from Sharam Kohan.
Limited license. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for the permitted purposes described in Section 2. This license does not include the right to resell any content on the Site, collect and use any content listings, make any derivative uses of the Site or its content, or use data mining, robots, or similar data-gathering tools.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Jurisdiction. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.
Informal resolution. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally by sending a written description of your claim to us through the Contact page. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving your notice. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may pursue formal proceedings.
Waiver of class action. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceeding will be conducted on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
10. Termination
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to all or any part of the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.
Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, such as by posting a notice on the Site.
